To create and maintain a strong, sustainable and socially inclusive centre that makes a positive contribution to the economy.
Garden Needs will become self-financing through:
- garden centre sales
- weekend training courses
- commissioning contracts around mental health service users
- spin off projects e.g. garden maintenance
This will provide us with self-reliance and independence and allow us to focus on our service rather than constantly chasing funding to survive. As a self-financing project, Garden Needs will be in control of its own activities and responsive to the needs of local people.
