Mental Health & Horticulture Drop-In
Garden Needs is a safe and friendly space for all Salford residents to enjoy.
We run a mental health recovery programme for people who want to work on feeling better and take control of their wellbeing.
Every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 3pm you can drop in and get involved whether you are feeling a bit down or anxious or have a diagnosed mental health condition.
A non clinical service – come in and see some friendly faces.
Whether you want to come in for a brew and a chat, or do a bit of gardening or get involved in one of our learning programmes, everyone is welcome.
Tuesday’s – Volunteering with Learning Courses
Thursday’s – Volunteering with Survival Skills Course
A hot lunch cooked by our volunteers is provided for all participants on these days.
Garden Needs is a peaceful green space located on the edge of Kersal Dale (Nature Reserve on River Irwell) in Salford. Time, dedication, love and hard work have been invested over the years to create a centre with a true difference in a unique and magical environment.
