Woodland Wellbeing
We have taken the learner of our forest school programme for children and applied it to all age groups and now regularly run Woodland Wellbeing Programmes.
One of our forest school leaders leads a group of adults (of all ages and backgrounds) on a walk at their local park or woodland and incorporates forest school skills.
The walk activities can include –
- Nature Navigation
- Foraging
- Identifying invasive species for conservation
- Shelter making
- Tree ID’ing and much more.
Participants have found that a walk along with an activity helps them to easily connect with nature, reduce thoughts of worry or anxiety and, gives them skills that they can easily use in a green space close to their home.
We currently run Woodland Wellbeing sessions on saturdays and on weekdays throughout the year. Contact us for the latest dates –
